Irrigation Limited to Wednesdays Only November 1st

Sprinkler for Fall Newsflash

While the bountiful winter brought the State, Region, and City out of the drought, most experts agree that California must continue to treat water as a precious resource that is highly valued. With that in mind, the City has updated its Water Waste Ordinance making conservation measures always in effect.

Effective November 1, irrigation is restricted to one day (Wednesday) a week. Watering is permitted before 9 a.m. and after 7 p.m. - The restrictions cover all potable water in the Morgan Hill City limits - including water from private wells. The City’s three day a week irrigation schedule will begin again on April 1. To report Water Waste, complete this form or call 408-310-4195.
