Electronic waste, commonly known as E-waste, like computers, televisions, and electronics, should not be disposed of with your normal trash due to the large amount of lead and other toxic compounds it contains. Instead, take your e-waste to any of the convenient South County facilities that accept the materials. Locally, Western Recycling (779-1781) accepts all electronic waste including televisions and computers at no charge. They do not accept cell phones. Click here
