South Valley Disposal & Recycling (SVDR) provides FREE recycling service to businesses in the City of Morgan Hill. Businesses can receive mixed paper service, beverage container service, and/or corrugated cardboard recycling service based on their needs. SVDR will provide rolling carts (with sticker labels) and/or dumpsters for the materials. Lockable containers are available. Business recycling is picked-up weekly, but businesses may get up to three pick-ups per week, if needed.
You Can Recycle
Mixed Paper: A broad range of office paper including newspapers, magazines, junk mail, white and colored paper, glossy brochures, paper bags, telephone books, envelopes (both with and without plastic windows), Post-It Notes™, file folders and chipboard (shoe boxes, gift boxes, cereal boxes, etc.).
Food & Beverage Containers: Aluminum cans, glass jars and bottles, plastic containers coded 1 through 7 such as water & soda bottles, and aseptic containers such as juice boxes and milk cartons.
Corrugated Cardboard: Flattened and clean corrugated cardboard. Businesses that don't have enough cardboard to fill a dumpster can flatten their cardboard (no larger than 3'x3') and place it next to the mixed paper cart.
