The Morgan Hill Redevelopment Agency has designed two programs
to assist mobile home owners, senior citizens, and the disabled
with making minor home repairs. The Business
Assistance and Housing Services Department (BAHS) administers
the Senior/Special Needs Housing Repair Program and the Mobile
Home Repair Program.
The City of Morgan Hill Redevelopment Agency, using funds
set aside for low-income housing repair, provides funding
for these programs. While eligibility requirements differ
slightly, both programs allow each eligible applicant to receive
a grant of up to $5,000. After four years, grantees are again
eligible to apply for another grant. Grants are not loans
and thus repayment is not required.
