Project Description

A request to demolish the existing gas station with a convenience store and redevelop the .5-acre site for a new gas station. The project includes six pump stations (12 fuel pumps) with a canopy and a new 2,115-square-foot retail/convenience store.

Notice of Intent (NOI)

The City of Morgan Hill, as the Lead Agency, has prepared a Notice of Intent and Initial Study for the Monterey - World Oil project in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per the CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations §15000 et. seq.) and the regulations and policies of the City Morgan Hill, California.

Planning Commission Hearing

The Planning Commission will consider the proposed project and environmental document at a public hearing tentatively scheduled for March 28, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in person with the option to attend by teleconference/video.
