Schedule an Inspection
To schedule an inspection for improvements in the public right of way please call 408-776-7333. Be prepared to leave a short message with a phone number where you can be reached. Please schedule your inspections a minimum of 48 hours prior to inspection.

Encroachment Permit
Work performed within the City’s right of way will need an Encroachment Permit Application (PDF). Customers are able to download the Applications and then email to the Engineering Department. Please email applications for review and approval to Engineering Technicians, John Henry and Agustin Vizcarra, engineeringtechs@morganhill.ca.gov, for review and approval. Encroachment permits review and approval time depend on the complexity of the proposed improvement. 

Oversize / Overweight Permit
Commercial vehicles traveling through the City of Morgan Hill are required by law to obtain an Oversize/Overweight permit application. Customers are able to download the Oversize/Overweight application (PDF). Applications are then emailed to the Engineering Department Technician for review and approval. A minimum of 72 business hours is required for all applications.
