As we kick off the New Year, many people are setting new goals and resolutions for the coming months. One of the most popular resolutions each year is related to healthy living and wellness. If you find yourself looking to improve your wellness or start a health journey, a community can help you reach your goals.
The community at the Centennial Recreation Center is unique in Morgan Hill. Members come together for events, cheer each other on as they discover accomplishments, and support one another through various stages of life. The facility truly offers something for everyone. With equipment for cardio or strength training, a variety of group exercise classes, and access to both an indoor pool and the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center, membership provides the largest range of recreational services in the area.
There are many benefits to joining the Centennial Recreation Center as a member. One of these benefits is the opportunity to learn how to use our fully equipped fitness center to your best advantage. All members are offered three free one-on-one Wellness Coaching Sessions with a wellness coach. Coaches will introduce you to the cardio machines, weight machines, and group fitness classes. This is a great way to ensure that you’re maximizing your time in the facility and will help you reach your personal goals, whatever they may be.
2022 also brought back some popular adult sports leagues in Morgan Hill. We’ve seen the return of basketball and volleyball that have added to the recreational opportunities for adults in the community. We’re excited to be gearing up for a softball season, with registration beginning in early Spring. For additional information, or to stay up to date on the schedules for adult sports, please visit https://www.morgan-hill.ca.gov/270/Adult-Sports-Leagues or email Debbie Vasquez at debbie.vasquez@mhcrc.com.
