The City of Morgan Hill requests proposals for furnishing maintenance and repair services, including all labor, parts, and materials necessary for the varied vehicles, including different classifications, types, and makes/models within the Police Department and Engineering, Utilities, and Community Services fleet. Due to the changing needs/requirements of the fleet, the number of vehicles, make/model, and fleet composition may change without prior notice.

Qualified service providers located within the general area of Morgan Hill, and shall be within a 3-mile radius of the Police Department. The selection will be based on the proposal most advantageous to the City . The Police Department's, Engineering, Utilities, and Community Services needs and requirements are outlined in the following Request for Proposal ("RFP").

Proposal Submission:  Deliver three (3) copies of the Proposal to the Morgan Hill Police Department, Attn: Mario Ramirez, Acting Police Captain, 16200 Vineyard Blvd Morgan Hill, California, by Friday, April 30, 2021, by 5:00 pm. . The City of Morgan Hill is not responsible for non-receipt of proposals sent by mail or courier. Mark the outside of the sealed envelope with "Vehicle Fleet Maintenance and Repair Services."

The Proposer must be licensed in the State of California with a valid Bureau of Automotive Repair license to perform the services included in this RFP. The selected service provider will be required to obtain a City of Morgan Hill Business License and comply with all other license, insurance and permit requirements of the City, State and Federal governments, as well as all other requirements of the law.
Special Requirements:
Prior to the start of work, the Service Provider shall be required to procure and provide proof of the insurance coverage required by the contract in the form of certificates and endorsements. The required insurance must cover the Service Provider's activities relating to or arising from the performance of the work. It must remain in full force and effect at all times during the period covered by the Contract.
Prospective Proposers are to complete the proposal documents and include in the package : Project Proposal (Exhibit C) (Exhibits D, E G). The forms that are provided in Section 3. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Failure to use the forms provided within the RFP package will result in an incomplete proposal.
