Advisory Commissions
The City of Morgan Hill currently has 3 advisory commissions appointed by the City Council. They include:

• Library, Culture, and Arts Commission
• Parks and Recreation Commission
• Planning Commission

Our City is shaped by residents who care about their community. If you’re interested in getting involved, consider serving on one of Morgan Hill’s commissions. These commissions help guide important decisions about land use, development, parks, trails, programs, and recreational spaces. They provide resident perspectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to the City Council.

Commission Recruitments

The City of Morgan Hill is recruiting for one seat on the Planning Commission and two seats on the Parks & Recreation Commission.

The Planning Commission vacancy has a term ending June 1, 2027. The Parks & Recreation Commission vacancies' term end date is April 1, 2030. 

We will be accepting applications until Monday, February 23, 2026. Interviews with the City Council are scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, at 5:00 p.m.
