Induction Cooktop Loaner Program

Borrow an Induction Cooktop Today

Morgan Hill residents can borrow a deluxe Induction Cooktop Loaner Kit at no cost for a 2-week period to experience the lifestyle and environmental benefits of decarbonization by converting from gas to induction stovetops.

The transition from gas appliances to electric appliances is a key part of our City's Climate Action Plan.

How Does It Work?

Induction cooking uses electromagnets to directly heat up its hot plate surface, referred to as burner in traditional gas stove. Electromagnetism allows for quicker heating, a safer cooking surface, more control on cooking temperatures, and reduced amounts of indoor air pollution.
