Santa Clara County Solid Waste Services
The City of Morgan Hill provides solid waste administration and planning services for all of Santa Clara County. The City supports and coordinates the meetings and program activities of the Recycling and Waste Reduction Commission, its Technical Advisory Committee, Implementation Committee, and various subcommittees.
The Recycling and Waste Reduction Commission
The ten-member commission is made up of select local elected officials that serve as the principal advisory body to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors on countywide solid waste planning issues.

Members of the committees and subcommittees are comprised of solid waste professionals from each city and the County and representatives of the private solid waste industry, business, and representatives of interested community organizations.
