Description
This project is a Planned Development review for a Master Plan of a 5.75-acre parcel for the remodel and expansion of an existing religious facility. The plan includes the demolition of temporary classroom facilities to be replaced with permanent classroom facilities and the remodeled expansion of the existing sanctuary with associated site improvements.

The project site is located at 16695 De Witt Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. Assessors Parcel Number: 773-09-011.

The City of Morgan Hill, as the Lead Agency, has prepared this Initial Study and a Negative Declaration for the DeWitt - West Hills Community Church project in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and the regulations and policies of the City of Morgan Hill, California.
Public Review Period:
A 30-day public review period began on May 9, 2025. Written comments on the draft Initial Study/Negative Declaration must be submitted to the Lead Agency no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 9, 2025, and should be addressed to: City of Morgan Hill, Development Services Department,17575 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
