Transportation Master Plan Update
The City is working to develop its first comprehensive Transportation Master Plan. The Plan is intended to provide numerous components, including traffic counts, future traffic modeling, updated speed survey to set speed limits, review of existing transportation infrastructure, specific review and analysis of bike and pedestrian infrastructure, development of transportation priorities for the City, creation of a capital improvement program, and numerous other components. The Plan will also provide the foundation for the update of the City’s General Plan Transportation/Circulation Element Update.

Call For Volunteers to Join the Stakeholders Group
The City is looking for residents with interest and/or thoughts on public transit, bicycle routes, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion, the environment, and any other areas relating to transportation in the City of Morgan Hill.
It is anticipated that volunteers will be required to attend six to eight meetings that will be held over the next year and are planned for Wednesday evenings. The first stakeholders meeting is planned for Wednesday, September 20, 2023, and the second meeting on Wednesday, December 13. If interested, please fill out the interest form.

Stakeholders Kickoff Meeting

This meeting is kickoff meeting for those volunteering to participate in the Community Stakeholders Group. The group is open to any Morgan Hill resident that will commit to attend the planned meetings.Community Meeting Number 1
The first community meeting is scheduled for the evening of November 8, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The meeting will be held online via zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85877433032.
